I fell in love with Hotel Heevan's fine views of the Lidder river and snow-capped mountains. The suite exceeded my expectations in size, providing ample space for the family. Eating dinner there was a treat. The local Kashmiri dishes were delicious, and breakfast offered plenty of options. The staff impressed me with their friendliness, particularly Shareef at the front desk, who managed our requests efficiently. The hotel shows signs of aging. Common areas feel outdated, and bathrooms need modern upgrades. The lack of 24-hour heating in rooms was uncomfortable, especially at night when temperatures dropped to -15. Maintenance seemed spotty since we had issues with leaky fittings in the shower. Despite enjoying my time here, the price didn't match the overall experience. Wouldn't say I would return again until they refresh the building.
